This is a long long loonnggg overdue post.
We went to The Pinnacles in Nambung National Park on the 3rd day.
So we got up early (we always do in Perth as it gets bright very early). It was a 3 hours drive from Perth CBD through country road.
Along the way, we passed through greens, desert with cactus, rolling barren hills, dusty dirt road, vast farming land with horses galloping around. All kinds of landscape. We didn't get to stop for pictures so much as we are rushing. I have to return the car at 5pm.
It was a long long lonngg journey. Cramp bontot mekss.
We reached Nambung National Park at around 1pm. Entry into the park cost $12 per car. We went into the visitor centre for a while then drive through the desert to look at the pinnacles. You can always walk around but it was too hot!

It was such a wonder. The vast barren land. Weols apa lagi fefeeling model ANTM uols. Posing tak hengat.
Drove through the desert then we head back to the city. Stop for petrol at Lancelin, a seaside town and got this amazing fuss-free fish and chips at $15 at the petrol station. The most delicious fish and chips I have ever tasted!
Returned the car before 5pm then walked over to Murray street for sight seeing. We were lucky as it was the lighting of Christmas Lights day so we sat at the street square, people watch while waiting for the event to start at 7.30pm.
If you have more time, you can drive along the Indian Ocean Highway. Even from far we can see the beautiful white sands and emerald green ocean. Maybe next time.

It was a jolly event. Everyone is already in Christmas mood and there were people wearing costumes, for charity purposes walking about. Plus it's a Friday night so many people were out and there were a lot of street musicians serenading.
