The Clean Window Epiphany

Recently i went for a 2 weeks vacation to the other side of the world, visiting my 2 aunts and their family. My elder aunt is a spiritual person and she has that ability to talk to souls. So while i was there, she shared a lot of stories and life philosophies.  One of the thing that interests me is "The Clean/Dirty Window Theory". She said a negative attitude is like a dirty window. One day, you look out through the window and said to yourself "Oh what a gloomy day." when in fact it's the window that's dirty and gloomy. Similar with negative attitude, you tend to think that your life sucks and things always do not happen according to the way you wanted when in fact it's your attitude that sucks.  Positive thinking is a mental attitude that sees the bright side of things. "Positivity attracts positivity" in the same way that "negativity attracts negativity". If you are kind, nice and helpful to people, you can expect the

Breast Milk Is The Best!

At my age, most of my friends are settling down and having babies. 4 of my good friends are already a mummy and another 2 is counting the days. I am a proud aunt. Anyone needed a babysitter, i'm available! I strongly support and advocate breast-feeding and would encourage mothers to breast feed their babies. Human babies should be given human milk and not cow's milk. Yes commercial infant milk has DHA, loads of essential vitamins etc but most of the milk are fortified with chemically derived vitamins and minerals. You are feeding your baby processed stuff. It saddens me that mothers are already thinking to give their newborn commercial infant milk while still pregnant. Some mothers stop breast-feeding few days after birth giving reason of not enough milk. You should encourage your baby to continue to suckle because this will trigger more milk production.  More suckling = more milk produced. FYI, the size of the breast has nothing to do with amount of milk it can produce

Footprints In The Sand

This is my favourite story of Jesus One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.  Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.  In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.  Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.  Other times there were one set of footprints.  This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life  When I was suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat,  I could see only one set of footprints.  So I said to the Lord, "You promised me, Lord,  That if I followed you, you would walk with me always.  But I noticed that during the most trying periods of my life  There have only been one set of prints in the sand.  Why, When I have needed you most, you have not been there for me?" The Lord replied,  "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints  Is when I carried you." When times are tough, when you feel so lonely and hopeless, remember, He is always with us. No matter
