The Lemon Water Detox

After reading (more like flip through) the book Eat Right For Your Type by Dr Peter D Adamo, i have started to routinely start my day with a glass of warm water + juice from half a lemon. It is a natural remedy for detox and amazingly, it helps in weight control (well, it works for me) and general health. Refreshing!  Benefits of lemon water: 1. Not too sweet honey - Hidden sugars

How much sugar you consume per day? Sure 3 in 1 drinks are convenient and tasty but did you know that it contain a lot of added sugar? WHO recommends not more than 10 teaspoons of table/ added sugar per day. Sugar is actually empty calories which mean they only give you energy but not fibers and other nutrients such as vitamins and minerals. cutting down on your sugar intake is actually taking a small step forward in eating healthy and eventually lose weight. so, who says it's hard? I would recommend to drink more plain water, chinese tea or green tea. without adding sugar of course.
