Pretty Bums?

I do not own this photo. Saw this photo on the net and couldn't stop looking at it. Not only because of the nice bums but the colours of the bikinis are like colour-coordinated. The picture is generally attractive and eye-catching. Hmm..I like the stripe bikini..and her skin tone.

You Like Banana?

I LOVE BANANA!! What's not to love? It's long, it's curved, tasty, creamy, sweet, cheap, convenient, energy and nutrient dense. Sometimes referred to as a "power food," banana got the perfect combination of being rich in potassium but low in sodium. Additionally, it has an abundance of vitamins, particularly Vitamin B6, Vitamin C and Vitamin B2. And it's so versatile. You can eat it on its own, chips, made into amazing desserts, coated with chocolate, anything!  Bananas are also an ideal first food to be given to children. It's natural, healthy and full of goodness and the texture is just right.  You can mash it or if the child is older, offer a whole banana so he/she can eat, play and explore with food.  1 big banana weighing about 100gm has: 116 kcal 1.2 gram of protein 2.6 gram of dietary fiber 27.2 gram of carbohydrate 88 mg of potassium 41 mg of magnesium Let me share a fool-proof banana cake that I've tried and t

Water - The Fountain Of Life

Not EVERYONE requires exactly eight glasses of water every day. The Institute of Medicine has determined that an adequate intake (AI) for men is roughly 3 liters (about 13 cups) of total beverages a day. The AI for women is 2.2 liters (about 9 cups) of total beverages a day. So the traditional rule should really be stated as: “Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of fluid a day,” because all fluids (juice, coffee, tea, other beverages and some foods like soup) count toward your daily total. But none the less, water is important for our health. About 60% of our body consisted of water and many important bodily function such as digestion, absorption, circulation, creation of saliva, transportation of nutrients, and maintenance of body temperature is dependent on water.  Why should i drink more water?  Increases Energy & Relieves Fatigue – Since your brain is mostly water, drinking it helps you think, focus and concentrate better and be more alert. As an added bonus, your

You Are Perfectly Imperfect

Happy girls are the prettiest - Audrey Hepburn How many times have you wondered if you can change certain physical attributes of yourself?  Wishing you have bigger eyes, hidung mancung, V-shape face, longer legs, curvy body, bigger boobs and butt.  Or wishing you are taller.  The list is endless. We are never satisfied with the way we look and we always compare ourselves to others.  If only I'm as pretty/smart/tall as her.  Somehow we attached our physical look to the acceptance and love from others. Thinking that people will love you more if you are prettier. When you expect love from an external source, and someone or something does not fulfill your void and fantasies, then you will feel worse than before.  We sometimes stop being ourselves in the hope that someone will love us.  If I do this, he/she will like me.  I'm too quiet, maybe if i talk and laugh louder someone will like me.  Don't do that.  You are unique and special because you are YOU. Amazing Silhouette Shots

Remember i said the weekend i had in Miri was eventful? It was eventful because the first time in my life, i missed a flight. So i had to stay another night in Miri. People say things happen for a reason and the reason behind that missing-flight-thing was probably so that i can spend more time with my family and visit my cousin and her family there.  So we went to Luak Bay. The last time i was there was 23-24 years ago, where we used to cycle, run around and frolic in the sea. Talking about going down the memory lane. It was almost sunset when we were there. A perfect timing for photos. My favourite shot So far this is my most creative pose. :p   I don't practice Yoga...yet. Those yoga poses are my interpretation of how a yoga pose would look like.

The Anti-Creep Defense

I have this ring that i occasionally wear. Sometimes on the middle finger, other times on the ring finger. I've discovered this anti-creep defense with this ring. Here's how: When there's a creepy, annoying guy trying to approach you, blatantly checking you out, talking to you, trying to get your phone number, put the ring on your ring finger, show it to the guy and said "I'm MARRIED. Get lost" But when there's a cute guy you're interested in, discreetly change it to your middle finger or anywhere else or best to hide it in your pocket. Smile sweetly and say "I'm all yours darling." Smart eh? I think i should write a research article on this subject. Hahaha..It's hard for a young (cough2), pretty girl like me to walk alone in the street or anywhere without getting unwanted attention you know. Ahem.

What's Your Favourite Tea Time Snacks?

Teh tarik with croissants I love tea time. I love snacks. And I absolutely love tea-time snacks. Did I mention that I love tea time? Tea time typically refers to the time at which afternoon tea is served. In the UK, it's usually around 4pm but it may be earlier or later depending on an individual's schedule. People often think of taking tea accompanied by light or heavy snacks is uniquely British but many countries around the world do it too.  In Malaysia, tea time is usually minum pagi and minum petang. And it's not only tea. Sometimes it is Milo, Nescafe or coffee. Both hot or cold.  So what do people usually take with their tea/coffee? Cakoi. I personally love this! Scones with butter and jam. Never tried it. Kalau mau fefeeling British boleh la try  Ahh dim sum. i can have this for breakfast, lunch, dinner or tea times Pisang goreng. Malaysian staple and all time favourite snack Viennese cookies. Got hooked on this while I was in the UK.

Mengarey padah orang Sarawak.  Zaman sekarang ni bukan susah mau jadi cantik dan gorgeous. Yang penting ada kemahuan dan DUIT. Bulu mata pendek? Ada bulu mata palsu. Boobs yang kecil? A Cup of Coffee In Chilla Cup

Yesterday i went to  Chilla Cup  The Mines and had an amazing time. Although i was alone but i was quite contend being in my own presence. There's nothing more calming than having a cup of coffee accompanied by your own thoughts. I love quiet and quaint cafe. A place where the ambiance is cosy, quiet with soft background music with wide selection of beverages, desserts and finger foods. And one must not forget the tantalizing aroma of brewed coffee. Chilla Cup The Mines Chilla Cup was all that. I love the ambiance. A perfect place for a nice catch up session with friends , a place to sit back, relax, have a nice cup of coffee, watch people walking by while absorbing the peace and tranquility. If you are like me, a place where you sort of wanted to be alone but not really alone. A perfect place to be alone and read.  I ordered a cup of Cafe Latte and a basket of garlic bread, plop myself on the sofa, flick through the magazines and immerse myself in the moment. Oh and

Mau Cuci Mata? Watch Magic Mike

My friends knew my fascination with buff bodies. In fact one of my dear male friend said to me the other day "Bos, mun kau mok ngorat athlete nak, aku rekomen kau ngorat pemain ragbi. Badan daknya mantap2. Mun pemain bola kureng sikit." I know right. That's why we are good friends. Miahaha. So anyway, I've read and heard about this movie titled " Magic Mike " for such a long time but never got the chance to watch it. It was based on real life story of Channing Tatum when he was 18 years old when he was a male stripper back then.  Story line and plot wise, it was BLAH but that's not the main point of watching this movie. It is to feast your eyes on all that gorgeous Greek Gods! I can tell you i was like "WOW!", "Woaahhhh!' and "Phewwww" each time they danced and flaunt that picture of physical perfection.  What's not to love about hot guys who can dance? It's bordering on being categorized as porn but it's

It's A Wonderful Feeling

The other day, my two good friends and i were in a cafe having a chat. A family with young kids were seated behind us. Their toddler, about 1 1/2 - 2 years old, was wobbling around with his older sibling chasing after him.  While my friends were talking, i looked on and smile at that adorable little boy. He smiled then run towards me, put his hands on my legs, smiled up at me and stayed there for a few minutes before starting to run around again. Such a happy toddler :) Well, you know how some kids are so wary and afraid of strangers. Some are even fearful of people they know. It was such a wonderful feeling to have a child run up to you and smile innocently at you like that. I mean, am i that irresistible? hahaha Have a wonderful weekend ahead everyone Xoxo, Cynthia

Before It's Too Late

www.michaelbarata.com Saw this on Facebook "Top 5 Regrets On The Death Bed" 1. I wish i had the courage to live a life true to myself. Not the life others expected of me. 2. I wish i hadn't worked so hard. 3. I wish i had the courage to express my feelings. 4. I wish i had stayed in touch with my friends. 5. I wish that i had let myself be happier. What say you? Life is beautiful. It's your life, it's your choice and listen to your heart. Do what makes your heart sings. I know i am :)

Dilemma Ketiak Hitam

Erkkkk I wear a lot of white shirts and all of them eventually developed ugly, embarrassing, yellow armpit stains.  I blamed it on the deodorants i used. It's not so bad with aerosol ones but the roll on ones are terrible. It's yucky, wet and leaves stains on your shirt.  Over the years of using deodorants, my underarm turned darker. Ketiak hitam pulak.  Tidak pakai deodoran, bau badan. Bila pakai, ketiak jadi hitam.  Dilemma ketiak hitam. I've tried the whitening ones but still of no avail.  Until my friend introduced tawas powder. But it's so difficult and messy to apply.  So i went on the net and searched for other tawas based products and found this. It's actually for the face but you can use it for underarms and crotch discoloration.  Apply on cotton wool and dab it on the desired area. Really effective in reducing discolouration.   I'm currently using this and it's been wonderful. The small one is about RM16 (in Wat

Confession Of A (ex) Party Girl

Confession Of A (ex) Party Girl Isabelle dan Angie (bukan nama sebenar) Many people say things like "Oh, she's always clubbing, partying and such. Perempuan soSIAL." Not wife material kata lelaki tipikal Malaysian. Aww come one dude.  We party sensibly and party does not interfere with other priorities in life like work, family, friends, or religious obligations.  People go to clubs for many different reasons.  Most wanted to chill and de-stress after a long week at work. Some for networking, some to socialize with friends, some wanted to find a hook-up or one-night stands.  To each of their own right? My PIC and I attend parties or clubs because we love to dance, people watching, and to some extend, fishing.  We know what we should and shouldn't do. We know our limits. Over this short period of being a party animal, I've learned and experienced so many things and met few people that I would not have met on the street.  Safe to say that my rose-tinted gl

Good News In The Family

Quite an eventful weekend i had. All of us were in Miri for the weekend to attend my cousin brother's engagement. I flew in from KL, my sister drove from Lawas, his brother and family flew in from JB, my family and cousin's family flew in from Kuching. It's like a mini family gathering. It has been a while since all of us gathered in one place :) Grace and i were of the same age while Albern and my sis was only a year younger than us. My sister and i, cousin Albern and Grace practically grew up together. We had an awesome childhood and later, teenage years. When we went off our own ways for uni, we remained close even though we didn't spend much time with each other or talked everyday.  Because he was the only boy in our group, he was often bullied. I remembered we forced him to put on a skirt, among many other things. We played in the drain together, swam in the river. He grew up to be a gentle, considerate, soft-spoken and well-rounded guy. And now he's engage

Guide To First Dates For Dummies

Guide To First Dates For Dummies While I'm not exactly an expert in relationships, first dates, and stuff, I've had a few learning experiences and a panel of consultants.  I feel the need to share with you, especially guys, a few do's and don'ts of a first date.  Basically to give you some idea of what girls expect on a first date and to save you from embarrassment and disappointments from not securing a second date.  1. Dress To Impress DO NOT underestimate the power of dressing. You only have one chance at making a good first impression.  You don't have to wear something expensive or trendy. Just something tidy, presentable, smart, or casual. Something you are comfortable in. Jeans, a nice shirt and shoes would be fine.  No short pants, slippers, and ratty t-shirts. If you want to wear shorts, wear them with a shirt (with collar) and shoes instead. Hair should be presentable, facial hairs trimmed and tidy, no bad breath or body odour.  Use cologne or perfume,

Are You A Bitch?

In my previous post i've mentioned i'll share a few tips from the book "Why Men Love Bitches" by Sherry Argov, so here's the first. 10 Characteristics Of A Bitch 1. She maintains her independence She earns a honest living. She earns her own money. Doesn't matter if she's the CEO of company or a waitress. She does not expect hand outs. 2. She doesn't pursue him The world does not revolve around him and he is definitely not the center of her world. She doesn't chase him or keep tabs on him. Sure there's a school of thought that says it's okay for a woman to make the first move but there'a a difference in making a first move or giving a green light and chasing a man.  3. She is mysterious There is a difference in honesty and disclosure. She is honest but does not reveal everything.Familiarity breads contempt and predictability breeds boredom.  4. She leaves him wanting She doesn't spend every night or eve
