Bikinication: Project Phuket Part 1

Partner in crime and i finally went for our bikinication get-away and we went to Phuket for 4 days!

She managed to find really cheap MAS flight tickets (rm232 return tickets to Phuket). Definitely cheaper than going back to Kuching.

The flight to Phuket from KLIA took us about 1 hour plus.
Our refreshment comes in cute blue box
The taxi from airport to where we stayed cost us 740 baht (about rm74) per car and our hotel is just AMAZING.

Alfresco Phuket Hotel has wonderful service, super friendly staff, clean room, free wifi, complimentary drinking water replenished everyday and the most awesome thing is they have a rooftop infinity pool.

Well, you know my obsession with swimming pools.

They also provided free shuttle service to town and beach and just next to the hotel is a 24 hour mart. We booked via Agoda and got RM208 (RM104/pax) for 3 nights. Super cheap and it's worth every penny.
Clean, spacious and gotta love the red, white and brown combination
Exploring what the hotel has to offer. the rooftop area is amazing. I love the carpet grass.
I absolutely love these lounging chairs..and the pool of course.
Day 1 - We explored the hotel surrounding area. As Patong is quite small, you can walk to Patong town centre.

kalau rajin la.It'll take you about 15-20 minutes.

We explored Patong town at night and partied in Bangla Road. Took a tuk-tuk back to hotel and it's 200 baht. If you are a lone traveler, there is always the motorbike taxi, 100 baht.
The famous Bangla Road, the red light district.

We watched a tiger show just for the heck of it. Never knew people can do so much with their vjayjay until we came to Phuket (writing, blowing a whistle, playing pingpong (!), hiding strings of razor blade and pipe blowing).

Be careful of those promoting pingpong show though. They say it's free entry and only pay for your drinks but the drinks were so EXPENSIVE.

Can you imagine 700 baht (rm70) for a fruit juice? and the girls were not that pretty anyway. So we went to this club and paid 100 baht for a beer. The girls were pretty and the music was good.

Hunks everywhere.
Food can be quite expensive. If you are a small eater like us, it's best to share. A plate of fried rice can cost you about 80 baht, the seafood tomyam was 150 baht. but it was gggoooooddd :)
So we went to a gay bar just for the fun of it. Not for the faint-hearted. Emm i would say it's not something i would do again. hahaha. I would if they know how to dance. Some of them were not gay though but they do things for money. But otherwise, they were really friendly.

Can you believe one of them took his dick (it was huge), stroked it and asked if I want to take to take his service?

No thanks. hihi

Day 2- We went to Patong Top Shopping and hang out by the beach. Got back early at night as we had to get up early for our island hopping to Phi Phi Island the next day. So no more partying tonight.
That's the free shuttle. The driver is also the hotel's cook. talk about multi-tasking...
People in shorts and bikini. a common sight :)
Choices choices choices. I only bring enough money for food and transport so didn't do any shopping. Next time saya mau borong bikini! I didn't even get the I Love Phuket T shirt.
Bikini heaven! Anything you buy in Phuket, you'll have to bargain. A t-shirt that's 150 baht, they can mark it up to 300 baht. I bargained a bikini for 200 baht (RM20, super cheap!) but i didn't buy it though. Can you imagine the same bikini, they sell it at rm60 in Malaysia? The more you buy, the cheaper you can bargain. Maybe i should do an online bikini business.
Patong beach. These people are amazing. Berjemur tengah hari buta. Saya kalau keluar sekejap ja pun sudah hitam, ini kan pula kalau berjemur time macam ni.
Phuket was heavily affected by the 2004 tsunami
Cold beer on a hot day. People say Chang beer was smooth. Never knew what people meant by "smooth" and i'm not really a fan of beer but Chang is good!

The waves were SUPER strong. Tak payah la fefeeling berenang. Silap hari bulan naik ke darat bogel, habis tercabut bikini.
View from hotel at night.
The water was warm and inviting
It was almost full moon and the view from up here was amazing.
Our 2nd meal. The stir-fried shrimp was superb.
See what i meant by food can really be expensive. Not sure about other parts of Thailand but here in Phuket, it's probably tourist price.

Phuket is a relatively save place to travel alone. The people are friendly and helpful. As it is a tourist place, most of them speak English. But like many other tourist place, things can be "tourist-priced" and it seems like everyone is trying to sell you something, some are quite persistent but most are fine when you said no.

Footprints In The Sand

This is my favourite story of Jesus One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord.  Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.  In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand.  Sometimes there were two sets of footprints.  Other times there were one set of footprints.  This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life  When I was suffering from anguish, sorrow, or defeat,  I could see only one set of footprints.  So I said to the Lord, "You promised me, Lord,  That if I followed you, you would walk with me always.  But I noticed that during the most trying periods of my life  There have only been one set of prints in the sand.  Why, When I have needed you most, you have not been there for me?" The Lord replied,  "The times when you have seen only one set of footprints  Is when I carried you." When times are tough, when you feel so lonely and ho...
