What Have You Achieved This Year?

Penghujung 2018 sudah berkunjung tiba uols. Pejam celik pejam celik, 2018 dah nak habis.

Seperti biasa, soalan yang sering ditanya kepada diri sendiri adalah

"What have I achieved this year?"

Kawan gym iols, Jayce pun bertanyakan soalan yang sama kepada diri dia. 

"Damn. 2018 is almost over. Felt like I didn't achieve anything. Career, personal wise. Not even traveling. I didn't even go anywhere this year. sighhhh"

How many of us felt the same?

Sama saja seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya. Tidak ada kemajuan langsung. Still broke? Still single? Still not rich? Still overweight no where near our desired weight? Kikiki.

I felt the same way too. 

Tambah-tambah lagi apabila kita membandingkan diri dengan kehidupan orang lain yang kelihatannya lebih awesome dari kehidupan kita, yang kita rasakan masih di takuk lama. Cewaaahhh.

Yang single, sudah kahwin. Yang sudah kahwin, ada anak sorang. Yang ada anak sorang, sudah bukak cawangan tambah lagi sorang. Sudah kerja, sudah beli rumah dan sebagainya.

And me? Begitulah, sentiasa AWESOME. Bwahahahahhaha!

None of those things matter to me. I SURVIVED the year. You survived. That's all that matters.

I'm happy, healthy, supported by my loved ones. I got a roof over my head, I have a job that I don't hate. In fact, I have everything I need. Despite all the trials and tribulations of stress, anxiety, heartache etc, 2018 has been a great year.

And I'm looking forward to another great year of survival. Lols. Tak ambitious langsung kan.

Orang lain sibuk dah pasang resolution macam-macam. Simpan duit, beli rumah ke, nak kahwin ke, nak naik pangkat ke, nak tukar kerja yang lebih baik ke.

Iols pulak berazam untuk survive. Hihi.

And countless trip back to Kuching to see my family. And one un-blog family vacation in Damai. It was such a perfect day, sunny, windy and not humid at all!
Company trip in Refreshing Spring Resort,Kalumpang. It's a private resort perfect for a back to nature trip. Phone line pun susah mau dapat hokayy. It felt so much like home to me. 

2. WEDDINGS


Well, obviously not mine. yet. Ha. ha. ha.
Friend turn family friend. The world indeed is a small place. 
3. HAPPY OCCASIONS
Baby Maryssa was born on 16th February 2018. Another February baby in the house! Do not be fooled by that big, round eyes and cuteness. This is one mean crying machine.

That's it?!? That's it CPPS? That's all you have got to highlight about your 2018?

I seriously got to document more of my life moments.

Quite a number of travel for me this year. Naik kapal macam naik bas. I spend so much on air tickets. 

No wonder I'm broke. But I don't regret any of it. They say spend your money on experiences and memories. 

I just wish I have a better memory. Kadang-kadang kunci letak mana pun lupa. Haihhh.

Anyway, Happy New Year 2019 uols! Semoga rezeki uols melimpah ruah, semoga sihat walafiat.
