Resipi Lemon Butter Cake Gebu, Mudah Dan Dijamin Sedap

I love cakes but I love baking more than I love eating them.

So sapa jadi mangsa habiskan kek-kek yang iols buatkan? Colleagues dan kawan-kawan iols lah yang untung.

Lemon butter cake ni iols pernah buat seketika dahulu dan digemari oleh kawan iols, Ari Fatonah Diva.

Tiba-tiba hari tu, iols dikunjungi oleh seruan angin surirumahtangga dan teringin nak buat lemon butter cake ni.

Resipi ni iols ambik dari blog Phong Hong Bakes and Cooks. I love her blog because she is a die-hard foodie and hilarious too.

By the way, resipi ni CPPS approved sebab kek ni ringan dan gebu. It's on the lighter, not-so-dense side with a nice, not too overpowering aroma and taste of lemon.

Super sedap dan digemari ramai!

Bahan-bahannya senang didapati, cuma teknik whisking egg whites and fold in the batter tu uols kena mantap sikit la. Hehe.

Lemon Butter Cake

Bahan A :
250g butter pada suhu bilik - iols pakai Golden Churn. Nak sedap kan. Jangan pakai Buttercup sebab Buttercup bukan butter ye chuols!)
80g gula halus
1 st esen vanilla
4 kuning telur
200g tepung naik sendiri - diayak
Parutan kulit lemon - 1 bijik (Tips nak elakkan rasa pahit, masa uols sagat tu, jangan sagat sampai bahagian putih kulit lemon. Yang putih tu lah yang bagi rasa pahit)
2 sudu makan jus lemon

Bahan B :
4 putih telur - telur pastikan bersuhu bilik ye
80g gula halus

Cara-cara:

1. Adunkan butter & gula sehingga gebu dan berwarna kuning pucat. masukkan esen vanila.
2. Masukkan kuning telur satu-persatu, sebatikan.
3. Masukkan parutan kulit lemon
4. Masukkan tepung sedikit demi sedikit yang diselang-selikan dengan jus lemon tadi. Do not over mix hokayyy. cukuplah sekadar sebati.
5. Dalam bekas yang lain, pukul putih telur sehingga berbuih, masukkan gula sedikit demi sedikit. Whisk until stiff peaks.
6. Masukkan 1/3 adunan putih telur tadi ke dalam adunan butter, gunakan fold in method dengan spatula atau senduk. Jangan pakai mixer dah. Adun sebati.

7. Bakar 160C, 50 minutes ataupun sehingga lidi/pisau yang dicucuk ke dalam kek comes out clean.

With a hot cup of tea, this is the perfect tea time cake.

Mudah je kan. Bahan pun tak banyak. Yang penting sedap dan gebu sangat.
