My car's road tax expired while I was away in Perth. I can't believe Ricardo (perghhhh kereta bagi nama Ricardo, romeo hunky sangat) is one year old.
With my previous car, I would just go to the agent and they will do everything for me including insurance renewal.
With Ricardo, people have told me that I have to go to the bank to get my green card, renew the insurance separately then head to JPJ to renew the road tax.
Makk aihhhh. Leceh betul. Mana la Cik Panda ada masa nak ke hulu hilir, pergi bank la, pergi agent la, pergi JPJ la. Off day dah la seminggu hari je. Time off tu la rehat, kemas rumah.
They told me you can do it at the Post Office but then I still need to obtain the green card from the bank.
Cik Panda dah stress. Road tax dah mati beberapa hari nih, kat tempat kerja dah la busy, bila lagi nak urus semua ni?
So Cik Panda asked around and a friend suggested I renew it online through MYEG.
I go on the net, register an account with MYEG and tried to renew my road tax but failed TWICE. Arghh. Cik Panda text pulak agent kereta Cik Panda dulu then dia suggest contact rakan sekerja dia yang urus semua ni.
A few minutes later, an officer from MYEG called me and clarify whether I wanted to renew my roadtax or both roadtax and insurance. She asked for my email address and send the link to my email.
So we corresponded through email where she required all the necessary details like car no, engine and chasis no. She then send me the quotation which is in fact RM100 cheaper than the quotation sent by the car agent (they both covered the same thing). I made my payment via online banking.
I applied on Thurday, corresponded with her on Friday and received my new roadtax on Monday, delivered via courier right to my workplace.
How AMAZING is that?!
All at my fingertips!
Their customer service is very prompt, professional and I highly recommend MYEG :)
