The Best Kind Of Date

After our first date in the gym (Read about it HERE), D and I arranged for a movie date on Sunday, after I'm done with work.

As per requested/standard of procedure for any guys I'm going out with, Cik Meow and Cik Pah has to give their stamp of approval.

So I asked D to come over and meet me at my work place.

He came, I introduced him to my bodyguards. I leave him chatting with them for a bit while I go check on my car.

Cik Meow, Cik Pah and another colleague gave their approval as he's easy to get along with, friendly and not snobbish.

Later he asked me

"Kenapa you mintak I datang outlet you?"

Cik Panda terpaksa mencari alasan

"Saje laa. Sebab barang2 I semua kat situ. I malas nak mengangkut barang banyak2."

Padahal bodyguard nak buat assessment.

We went for dinner. There is this one thing about me on how I read people's body language and their action.

When sitting at the table, guys who choose to sit next to me instead of opposite me (with the table between us) always get extra point from me.

I like the comfort and it's easier to talk. It's an intimate gesture.

Like he can read my mind, D sat close, next to me.

I told him I'm a small eater and he's watchful about what he eat so we just ordered one dish and shared it.

Well, the portion is quite huge and we were barely eating because we talked so much.

We chat and laugh and flirt. Chat, laugh and flirt for 2 hours. We have sooo many things to talk about and one thing we share in common is we like to tease each other. Kaki bahan nombor satu. Saling membahan dan menganjing sesama sendiri. I asked him

"You suka observe orang tak?"

"Yup. I suka observe lepas tu membahan orang."

"Ishh tak baik la membahan orang."

"Eleehh you pun sama suka bahan orang kan. Yeahh. High five! Kita satu geng."

Bahahahhaha. That was fun. It's fun to find a partner in crime.

He's doing all this sweet gestures like opening the door for me and let me go through first, putting his hand on the small of my back as we walk side by side. He was thoughtful, gentle and sweet.

During the movie, we sat close to each other and share body heat. Gituuuuu kan. And he gave me a little kiss on the forehead. Even during the movie, we share comments about the movie.

I guess it was fun because we never run out of things to say,was always joking and there is no awkward moment.

It was still kinda early when we were done with movie. Both of us were still quite reluctant to part and continued our date at a mamak shop. we talked and laughed for another 2 hours before we went our separate ways.

But not before he asked when can he see me again. Isn't that sweet?

When I reached home and done with my shower, I received a text

"Dah sampai rumah dah? Thanks for today :)"

Awwwwww. Melting ai tell chuuuuu.

This is the kind of date that leaves me smiling whole day long.

The Beautiful Malacca

St Paul's Church Malacca is probably my third favourite city. My first time visiting this amazing place was when i was 14 for a youth camp and has been visiting Malacca for countless times now. Day trips with friends or families,countless programs and courses over the years. It's probably that few coins i threw into the old well or an empty tomb on St Paul's Hill. Oh you know what they say about throwing coins and you'll come visit that place again someday. I love the old historical buildings, The Stadhuys, the architecture and colours of the building. I love the food, the vibrancy of the town. So the other day, my mum and younger sis was in town and we drove down to Malacca for a day trip. 14 years ago, those tall buildings were not there.
