A smile is a beautiful thing. 

When we smile, something inside us lights up. Have you noticed those who are generous with their smiles have that light of joy and love reflected on their face? 

You just loved looking at them without knowing why. 

They have this certain charm you cannot explain and radiate this positive energy that makes you want to be near them. 

We all know that wonderful feeling when someone looked into our eyes and smiles at us. 

It's like, somebody actually notices and acknowledges us. 

Isn't it amazing how something seemingly insignificant like a smile can make someone's day? 

I love the smile or a grin on someone's face, especially children when they are genuinely excited and happy to see you. There is so much love and joy in that. 

Smiling Makes You More Attractive


This is very true and research has proved that. 

We find people are more attractive when they smiled. Smiling also makes you more dateable.

There was this book on body language I read some time ago where they conducted an experiment on body language. 

2 girls with the exact physical attributes (hair, clothes, etc) were stranded on the roadside with a stalled car. Nobody stops to help the first girl compared to the second girl where within minutes of standing at the roadside, people stop and offered help. 

The researchers played the video and discovered that the second girl has more open body language and lo and behold, she was smiling at passers-by. 

Compared to the first girl who was crossing her hands in front of her and was frowning.

I myself find those who smile are more attractive and approachable. The first thing that attracts me is someone's smile. 

I love it when someone smiles and their eyes crinkle when they do that. 

Have you not heard the phrase how someone falls in love with your smile? I might not have a perfect set or the whitest of teeth but it is my smile that attracts them. 

Smiling makes you look younger. I'm always all smiley, no wonder people couldn't guess my real age. Lols. 

Anyway, I also find that I get treated differently and nicer when I smiled at salesperson/front desk persons/waitresses/waiters or every person I met in my daily life. 

There was this one time I did a social experiment.

We were at this eatery and I smiled at the waiter who took our order, smiled, and said thank you when he came with our food and drinks. He remembers me till this day. 

But then only a genuine smile does the trick. constantly smiling for no reason...is creepy and fake smiling is FAKE. 

Smile and laugh every day that it becomes a part of who you are. Smile at yourself, at your loved ones, at a stranger. Spread some love, joy, and inspiration today.

    Love this Tia...hehe. "Smiling makes you look younger" agree 101%. Ada skali, cerita2 with my friends. memandangkan sudah mau dekat new year..jadi semua pun busy kira umur masing2. Then, tiba2 sorang kwan ni cakap dengan saya... "eh, Ezie.. kau 21 bah kan next year?" Oh my! hahaha.. itu umur saya 3 tahun lalu okay. hahaha. the power of SMILES..

Tajuk mengundang kontroversi Sis ni bukan apa rajin pergi gym, selain nak bersenam, iols juga suka mencuci mata. Bukan setakat mencuci mata dengan jantan helok (I'm still hoping sebab gym iols pegi tu SENDUU), sis juga suka melihat gegadis yang fefeeling gedik dengan bermacam fesyen di gym tu.
