Sweet Things Guys Do That Girls Love

I am a sucker for sweet little romantic gestures. Not ashamed to admit that I am a hopeless romantic.

But then man and woman have different ideas on what these little gestures are.

Man tend to think that being romantic means flowers, expensive dinners or jewellery.

For some woman maybe, but for the rest of us, me included, it's all about the little thoughtful thing guys do.

After all its the thought that counts. Little things you do that let us know you are thinking about us.

Here is my personal list :)

1. Show that he really care. Like asking how was my day, have i eaten, remind me not to skip meals or tell me to get some rest when you know i am tired, or say "Drive safe"

2. Hold my hand in public. The thing about PDA is, it makes a girl feel like you are not ashamed to be seen with her and proud to show her to the world.

3. Put your hand on the small of my back when we are walking together.

4. Surprise kisses on the shoulder and the ultimate forehead kiss

5. Look me in the eye, fix my hair, put it behind my ear then smile

6. Help me to carry my things, especially when i did not ask for it

7. Offer me your jacket or cardigan when its cold, even when you yourself is shivering

8. Let me go in first and hold the door for me

9. Let me walk on the inner pavement so that i don't have to walk next to the traffic

10. Morning or night text messages to let me know you are thinking of me

11. Short call during work just to talk to me and hear my voice

12. Pay for my meal when i least expect it and buys me breakfast

13. Make me laugh and smile so much my cheeks hurts

14. Little thoughtful gifts. There was this one guy who bought me Kit Kat because i was always angry at him and said to me "Rileks la. Kit Kat kan ada." The same guy bought me an Angry Bird soft toy because when i'm angry, i look like an Angry Bird.

15. Watch horror movie with me even though throughout the movie he's squirming, swearing, jumping at every sound and was scared to death. Because watching chick-lit is too mainstream.

16. Drove for 16 hours to and fro just to spend 12 hours with me

17. When i say i miss you, you said i miss you more.

18. When a guy offered to drive.

19. When a guy cook for me

20. When they smile and their face lights up when they see you :)

21. When you tell them you like something i.e i like it when you hold my hand and they remember to do it because they want to make you happy. Doing their best to make their girl happy, that's the sweetest thing.

Well, platonic friends can also do sweet thoughtful gestures.

Because i suck at cars and stuff, my friend checks the condition of my car for me and when he's available, accompanied me when my car needs fixing.

And because i suck at gadgets and technology, my brother reformats my laptop for me.

The Beautiful Malacca

St Paul's Church Malacca is probably my third favourite city. My first time visiting this amazing place was when i was 14 for a youth camp and has been visiting Malacca for countless times now. Day trips with friends or families,countless programs and courses over the years. It's probably that few coins i threw into the old well or an empty tomb on St Paul's Hill. Oh you know what they say about throwing coins and you'll come visit that place again someday. I love the old historical buildings, The Stadhuys, the architecture and colours of the building. I love the food, the vibrancy of the town. So the other day, my mum and younger sis was in town and we drove down to Malacca for a day trip. 14 years ago, those tall buildings were not there.
