It's A Wrap! Thank You 2013

A lot of people have remarked that 2013 is the fastest and shortest year. Time really does fly. i couldn't agree more. On this last day of 2013 i couldn't help but wonder where have time been and what have i achieved this year.

Getting nostalgic and melancholic aren't we?

Looking back, there have been many wonderful things/happenings/milestones happened this year and i would say that 2013 has been a great year.

1. We finally got the chance to visit my mum's sisters in the UK. I did not blog about this trip. Maybe one day. We had the amazing opportunity of visiting Cardiff and Bath. Beautiful country and i loveeeeeddd the cold. Would really love to go back again one day.

2. Professionally, i finally got a research article published in a local journal. it took me 2 years and draft after draft and after draft to write that article.

3. After almost 3 decades of life, i finally have the courage to wear a bikini in public! its something monumental because i used to be fat and very insecure with myself. And since that first bikini in a private pool, i had 2 bikinications, Damai and Phuket. Looking forward for many more bikinications.

4. Had my first bikinication with dearest PIC in Phuket. There were many firsts for us while in Phuket. Pheww..eye opening trip i would say.

5. Oh i won 4 tickets to We Love Asia and get to see Pitbull in action! Its something big because i seldom win something. Oh the feeling of winning something you really wanted. Priceless.

6. After many2 months of contemplating, i finally joined a fitness centre and it's one of the best decision i made. i get to do zumba and dance fitness classes. dancing keep me happy and sane. Dance, getting fit and making new friends is so worth the monthly fee.

7. 2013 marks the 10th years atiq, beth, martina, cosmas, mordi and i have been friends. Who would have guessed we'll be friends this long huh. Through many thick and thins, breakups, marriages and 2 little adorable princess later, we are still together. You guys have been super amazing!

8. Our dear cousin Albern got engaged and its so great seeing him getting grown up and responsible. The first in our 4 close-knitted clan of cousins to get engaged.

9. I'm so blessed with many wonderful people in my life. My family. My friends. Near and far. Each and everyone of you is special and wonderful.

Remember i said the best new year resolution is not to have a resolution? haha. Perhaps i will not apply it in 2014. Here's to better me in 2014!
