I love my beauty sleep. In fact who doesn't love sleeping? Especially on a super comfy and high quality mattress like The Casper Mattress.
But sometimes I wish when I had an amazing sleep, I wake up looking amazing too.
In the movies, people often get up looking sexy with gorgeous hair. But instead of sexy bed head hair, we often get up with messy hair, oily face with dark under eye circle. And hair..On some days, no matter how hard you prim and style your hair, they seem to have a mind of their own.
The worst is tangled bed head hair. But fret not, there are tips to prevent bed head hair and of course to wake up gorgeous everyday.
If all else fails, if you have long hair and assuming you have a lot of time to get ready in the morning, you can always curl your hair and tadaaaa...bed head hair gone! But if you are like me, who always find a quick fix for anything, especially in the morning, you can always do a pony tail or a hair bun.

The worst is tangled bed head hair. But fret not, there are tips to prevent bed head hair and of course to wake up gorgeous everyday.
- Before you sleep, use a wide tooth comb to slowly and carefully detangle your hair. Start at the bottom of your hair and work up, especially if your hair is medium length or longer, thick and either naturally wavy or curly.
- Apply a light conditioning/oil to the end of your hair to add a little moisture to make sure there is less damage of breakage.
- If your hair is long enough, try braiding it or rolling it into a loose bun to help prevent tangles.
- Piling hair on top of your head with a soft hair tie will add major volume in the morning. Remember to use something soft to pull hair up to avoid crimping and kinking.
- For those who often wash their hair late at night, make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to bed.
- Sleep on a silk or satin pillow case. This keeps the friction from your hair and the pillowcase to a minimum. Cotton pillowcases or cases with a heavy nap may actually cause more tangling.
Problem solved. And I still look chic even though it only took me 5 minutes to get ready.
Heck. This lion has better hair than me. |
