Food To Avoid When Trying To Lose Weight


Sometimes we try so hard to lose weight, some to the point of starving themselves. That is not the most effective way to lose weight. 




Don't starve yourself!

We can take small steps towards losing weight and eating healthy by avoiding these foods. 

1. Avoid Soda And Sugary Drinks

Sugar= calories so less sugar means fewer calories consumed per day. Replace soda or sugary drinks with water, chinese tea or green tea (without sugar of course).

2. Reduce Your Fried Foods Intake

The more oil is used in its preparation, the more calories the food has. Choose healthier cooking options like bake, grilled where less oil is used. 

If you really love fried foods, why not switch to frying foods using an air-fryer? Air frying helps to cut the fat content used typically in deep frying.

3. Limit Fast Food Consumption


A lethal combination of fried foods and soda. One meal of fast food sometimes contains your one-day daily allowance of calories. 

Once in a while, Yes. Once a week? Definitely No No!

4. Pastries Including Doughnuts


Doughnuts are just white flour + fat fried in oil then coated in sugar. All the bad stuff in perfect matrimony. 

5. Junk And Processed Snacks Like Potato Chips 


Most potato chip brands are cooked in hydrogenated oils. This type of oil is called trans fat. 

Trans fat is known to increase cholesterol, contribute to heart disease and increase weight.

Losing weight is hard but is not impossible. Avoid these foods, eat healthily and exercise, you'll lose weight gradually.
