I Bought A Double-Walled Glass And It's My New Favourite Thing. Here's Why You Should Get It Too.

When double-walled glass is the in thing, I couldn't understand what the crave is all about.

After all, all glasses are the same right? Just another container to drink your beverages from.

Boy was I in a surprise.

So I finally succumb to marketing pressure. While scrolling through Shopee, I couldn't help to add this super nice and affordable double-walled glass to the cart.

Along with a wooden coaster....

And a teeny tiny wooden spoon that would look so great in my coffee photos. All totally aesthetically pleasing.

Am I the only one with this problem of "add to cart syndrome"?

Like everything just looks so nice and feels like 'I gotta have this"?!

My beautiful glass arrived within a week and since then I never look back. It has become my absolute favourite glass for anything and everything. Trust me.

What Is A Double-Walled Glass?

It's a glass within a glass with a vacuum space in between and is typically made with high-quality borosilicate glass.

Why You Should Get Yourself A Double-Walled Glass:

1. It Is Heat And Cold Resistant

Don't you hate it when your hot coffee goes cold really fast? Or your icy cold drink goes warm, like in an instant?

I know I do.

If you are like me, a double-walled glass is a perfect solution because it keeps your beverages at the desired temperature for longer.

It can easily hold drinks with temperatures between -20ºC ~ 150ºC.

The glass is designed in such a way that the vacuum thingy doesn't allow heat to escape or enter. So your hot coffee stays hot and your iced coffee stays cold for looonggggg time compared to regular glass.

Additionally, because of this vacuum, the glass can hold boiling tea or coffee without burning your hands or fingers.

So you can hold the glass comfortably whatever temperature your drinks are.

2. It Is Sturdy, Highly Durable And Amazingly Light

Double-walled glass is designed with food-grade, premium quality borosilicate that is tough and can withstand high temperatures, frictions, and daily wear and tear.

This means it doesn't break, crack or scratch easily compared to regular glass.

Perfect for a clumsy oaf who no matter careful they are, always tend to break things.

It's easy to clean. As it also sturdy, the double-walled glass is dishwasher safe too.

Oh, did I mention how light it is?

Though they are double-walled, they are much lighter than ordinary glass, almost half the weight.

Amazing!

3. It Is Beautiful and Aesthetic AF

The design is simple but elegant and unique. Pretty darn good looking I would say.

As the glass is clear and so aesthetically pleasing, I get this pleasant, euphoria whenever I pour my drinks into the glass.

I don't know about you but I swear, my drinks tasted better.

This could be a placebo effect but my drink is beautiful y'alls!

I could be just drinking plain 'ol cold water but when I drank it from a double-walled glass, it feels so luxurious and special like I was sipping spring water from the exotic Amazonian Rainforest.

I kid you not.

Making my WFH experience more enjoyable. It's like working from a cafe. All I need now is a pastry

The Beautiful Malacca

St Paul's Church Malacca is probably my third favourite city. My first time visiting this amazing place was when i was 14 for a youth camp and has been visiting Malacca for countless times now. Day trips with friends or families,countless programs and courses over the years. It's probably that few coins i threw into the old well or an empty tomb on St Paul's Hill. Oh you know what they say about throwing coins and you'll come visit that place again someday. I love the old historical buildings, The Stadhuys, the architecture and colours of the building.
