"Eh you dah gemuk"

Ahh sudah. Satu ayat, 4 perkataan yang bisa bikin jiwa berkecamuk.

Cik Panda Perempuan Sihir yakin kebanyakkan uols pernah berada dalam situasi ni kan?

Walaupun iols bersenam dan jaga makan, nak achieve healthy lifestyle katanya, iols takkan pernah lari daripada menerima ayat seperti di atas daripada manusia bermulut puaka disekelilling.

Sebab iols ni manusia dan seorang perempuan yang tidak pernah lari daripada weight fluctuations. 

Berat badan/bentuk fizikal seorang perempuan cepat berubah bergantung kepada hormon, stress, keadaan emosi semasa.

Ada orang tu, kalau tengah patah hati, berat jatuh mendadak. Ada orang tu pulak, naik berat badan sebab makanan adalah peneman dikala broken hearted.

Ada pulak si minah ni, masa stress kurus keding sebab selera makan ikut berkecamuk. Ada pulak orang tu masa stress tu la selera makan dia mencanak.

Ha, tapi yang pasti, perempuan kalau tengah bahagia hati senang tak payah makan pun naik badan uols. Zat makanan ambik dari proses fotosintesis je.



Ini adalah keadaan bila iols sering menerima ayat "eh you dah gemuk". Ketika ni iols tengah terjebak dalam gejala kurangkan-makan-nasik, nescafe/coffee limit sekali sehari. Zumba and weight training at least twice a week.

This is when I'm trying so hard to lose some weight but going nowhere.

Ini pula gambar terbaru, iols menerima "eh you kenapa kurus?". Ini adalah selepas sebulan mereput di rumah. Hari-hari makan nasik untuk lunch and dinner, coffee at least twice a day. Christmas and new year uols, sah-sahlah makan dari pagi sampai malam. Memang iols makan nasik setiap hari tapi iols pastikan setiap kali makan mesti ada sayur dan jumlah sayur mesti lebih dari nasik.

 Zumba paling kerap pun seminggu sekali. Besi tak payah cakap lah, sebulan tak pegang.

 Seluar jeans koyak ni masa iols kerap weight lifting mana muat kat paha dan bontot. Ni dah muat balik. Ye iols dah mengecut but like a deflated balloon, I'm flabby, bontot dah kempes. Hakak dah tak sado.

Apa yang cuba iols sampaikan diatas adalah "You got to find what works for you".


Macam iols, berat iols lebih senang maintain kalau iols makan nasi dan minum kopi dengan kerap.

Okaylah berbalik kepada cerita "eh you dah gemuk la." tu.

To me personally, there is nothing empowering about that statement. Especially to someone who you know is actively trying to improve their body.

It is not okay to tell someone "You're getting fat again."

Losing weight or improving your fitness is mentally challenging and frustrating at times.

There is nothing easy about committing yourselves to exercise and trying to eat better. And trust me, it's super frustrating when you have done everything you could and yet didn't see the changes you hope. 

It is worse when one woman made a remark about another woman's body.

Ironically, those who make it their habit to comment and ridicule others are those who are overweight themselves but didn't do anything to change that. 

Are they trying to bring themselves up by bringing others down?

Or they probably felt bad about themselves that they need to take it out on others?

We are already our own worse critics and we definitely don't need others to ridicule or define our looks or body. 

Losing weight or a healthy life is a journey, not a destination. It is something long-term. And being healthy and fit does not merely mean skinny, 6 packs or biceps. 

It is being healthy both inside and outside with lots of self-love and acceptance.

Kadang-kadang tu iols sedih tengok komen-komen gegadis kat social media ni.

Bila ada gambar perempuan yang kurus keding macam papan, mulalah masing-masing nak buat "body goal". Lepas tu mulalah nak diet merepek-repek.

Jangan jadi begini ya.

Kita kalau bentuk badan semula jadi macam saloma tak payah nak body goal yang macam pembaris.

Kalau dah oren takkan nak jadi epal.




Bukan semua orang ada bentuk badan yang sama. Apa yang iols maksudkan disini adalah kenali bentuk badan anda dan dari situ, uols boleh set fitness goal uols sendiri.

Semua orang unik dan ada kelebihan masing-masing. Bukan main hantam kromo ja. Nampak orang yang kurus kering terus body goal. Aihh emosi iols dengar body goals nih. 

Fitness and beauty comes in all shapes and sizes and we should celebrate that!

Tajuk mengundang kontroversi Sis ni bukan apa rajin pergi gym, selain nak bersenam, iols juga suka mencuci mata. Bukan setakat mencuci mata dengan jantan helok (I'm still hoping sebab gym iols pegi tu SENDUU), sis juga suka melihat gegadis yang fefeeling gedik dengan bermacam fesyen di gym tu. Otot Lagi Berat Daripada Lemak? Pernah tak korang hadapi situasi macam ni. Bersenam dah all out, membanting tulang dan tenaga di gym. In case you have not read the part 1, click HERE .  So on the 3rd day we went island hopping to Phi Phi Island where the movie "The Beach" featuring Leonardo Dicaprio was filmed.  Bought the package while wandering around Patong Beach but you can get these island hopping packages anywhere in Phuket.  Like many other things in Phuket, you have to bargain.
