So what happened on my precious one day away from work?
I slept in but noticed that I could no longer sleep beyond 10am. Mantop la. There was a time when I didn't get up until pass 11am! I settled things that needed to be done i.e laundry, bill paying, post office etc. Got back home for lunch. Today was extra ambitious because I cook. Well, it's actually because it's fasting month. it's quite a hassle for me to eat outside because people think I'm Malay and gave me that oi-tak-puasa-ke look whenever I eat in public.
Went on the net, updated the blog before going off to the gym in the evening. On non-fasting month, I would go to the mall for lunch while people watching and then had cake and tea for teatime while reading a book.
A cup of tea/coffee, a slice of cake and a good book. That's what I call a perfect day |
So there I was at the gym and the friendly front-desk staff greet me ever so enthusiastically
"Hello beautiful! Going for your class today? "
How flattering. I'm actually a sucker for sweet words and sadly, always fall for sweet-talkers. But meh, maybe not this guy though. The highlight is always the trainers. So the other day, this good looking trainer gave me that smile/smirk with a wink and surprisingly my heart did not skip a beat or butterflies flutter in my tummy or anything. I find it quite annoying when guys do that. It gave the impression that you are too sure of yourself, cocky and think you are the most good looking guy on earth.
Well anyway, there is this one trainer who always appear so serious, forlorn looking and never return my smile. I was really surprised when one day he did return my smile and today he smiled like really wide and said "bye". Ahhh..Did I just made someone's day or did he made my day?
Went groceries shopping in the supermarket and bought myself a tub of ice-cream which I'll devour while reading. Aaahh..what a bliss. A day well-spent I would say.
Congratulations, you have just wasted your time reading the story of my boring day off. Kekeke.
