GI has been proposed to guide consumers in food choices. Some low GI foods may not always be a good choice because they are high in fat. On the other hand, some high GI foods maybe a good choice because they have low energy and high in nutrients. It is not wise to totally avoid all high GI foods.
Like i said all the time, be moderate. Choose wisely
