Are You An Extrovert or Introvert?

People have this general conception that introverts are shy and timid while extroverts are outgoing and friendly.

It's not.

Introverts recharge by spending time alone. They lose energy from being around people for long periods of time, particularly large crowds. They tend to be quiet, peaceful, think before speaking and not really attracted to social interactions. They prefer activities we can do alone or with group of close friends like reading, writing and thinking. Introverts sometimes are called " Thinkers". They find social gatherings draining but that does not mean they have poor social skills. They might attend parties but at the end of the night, they need some alone time.

Extroverts on the other hand focus on the world outside of self and gains energy from being around people. They actually find their energy is sapped when they spend too much time alone. They enjoy social interactions and large parties, are expressive and enthusiastic, talkative, assertive and animated. They like to spend time with people, has many friends and easy to approach.

Find out if you are an introvert or an extrovert here

I am a proud introvert! Or so i thought...

Until i take this quiz and found out that i'm an ambivert, which means i'm neither strongly introverted or extroverted. Ambiverts generally enjoy being around people, but after a long time this will start to drain them. Similarly, they enjoy solitude and quiet, but not for too long. Ambiverts recharge their energy levels with a mixture of social interaction and alone time.

Well anyway, i like to think myself as ambivert but leaning towards introvert. I generally enjoy social interaction but at the end of the day, i need time with myself.

All my favourite things: books, coffee and rain in one picture!
So are you an introvert, extrovert or ambivert?

Perth Travelogue Day 4 - Fremantle

Pose wajib di tepian pantai Want to read about DAY 1 , DAY 2 and Day 3 ? Click on the individual days. On the 3rd day, a Saturday, we went to Fremantle, a port city where the Swan River meets the Indian Ocean, 30 minutes (via train) from Perth. It is famous for the divine beaches, best seafoods, historical prisons and cheaper souvenirs.  It's a quaint but very lively city. So we took the train from Perth Station. If you are travelling in pairs, it's cheaper to get the family rider fare where for a fee of $12 (about $6 per person), you can hop on and off the train, to any station within Transperth territory the whole day.  Travel tips: Go to Fremantle on the weekends for their weekend markets. Take the Fremantle Line and get down at the last station. Once you exited the station, turn right towards the CAT bus station. Traveling around in Fremantle town is quite easy as they have free CAT bus. You can hop on and off any of the destinations along the route. Remem...
