Birthday Staycation @ DoubleTree By Hilton

My birthday was 2 months ago weii. This is such a long overdue post.

So anyway, because I'm such an old soul and aging person, my birthday celebration pun ala-ala aging kerturina gitulah kan. Tak laratlah CPPS nak jimba-jimba ala hot stuff party girl sekarang.

Sejak mencapai usia gorgeous 30 (hewhew), Iols akan ambik cuti masa birthday and pergilah bercanda kat mana-mana kan. It started with Cameron Highlands and then last year was Royal Chulan Damansara.

So tahun ni CPPS bercanda di DoubleTree by Hilton.

And I chose this hotel purely based on these reviews

"Buffet breakfast spread was amazing", "The cookies we received during check in was yummy!".

Ya, because of food and food is life.

So upon checking in, I received these cookies! It's their signature and the cookie is sooo huge! Checking in was such a breeze and their front desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The complimentary Loccitane toiletaries. Mak is jakun and excited. Hihi

If your staycation is for anything special, anniversaries, honeymoon, birthdays etc, make sure you put that remark during your booking process. Their guest relation department will take note and they went the extra mile by providing balloons and cake. It's such a nice and thoughtful gesture. This is also one of the reasons I choose DoubleTree.

So people who saw my post be like "Wahh untunglah ada boyfriend romantik prepare balloon and cake."

Ehhhh takde maknanya. It was all prepared by the hotel.

So anyway, birthday staycation iols tidaklah ditaja oleh boyfriend ke, sugar daddy ke, skandal ke. Hakak sendiri bayar tauuu.

We create our own happiness. Tak payah berharap atau bergantung kepada orang lain tau sis. #strongwoman gitewwwww.

Although I prefer Royal Chulan's room interior, DoubleTree's room is descent and served the purpose. The partition between bedroom and bathroom was just a glass door, of course there is a blind la.

Anyway, there is a speaker that is connected to the TV in bathroom. So uols bolehlah fefeeling dengar lagu masa mandi/berak.

Kat bawah DoubleTree ni ada mall, so ada banyak pilihan F&B. I had dinner in one of the outlets, bought wine from the grocer. Sip some wine feeling damn adult and sophisticated while reading a book then passed out before 11pm.

Happy Birthday to me!

Oh and the buffet breakfast? Yes impressive but MAKE SURE YOU GO EARLY. There's just too many people and PRCs scrambling for food like there's a zombie apocalypse.

That kinda spoil my breakfast experience.

The Beautiful Malacca

St Paul's Church Malacca is probably my third favourite city. My first time visiting this amazing place was when i was 14 for a youth camp and has been visiting Malacca for countless times now. Day trips with friends or families,countless programs and courses over the years. It's probably that few coins i threw into the old well or an empty tomb on St Paul's Hill. Oh you know what they say about throwing coins and you'll come visit that place again someday. I love the old historical buildings, The Stadhuys, the architecture and colours of the building. I love the food, the vibrancy of the town. So the other day, my mum and younger sis was in town and we drove down to Malacca for a day trip. 14 years ago, those tall buildings were not there.
