Excuse me while I clean the spider web on this blog. Bersawang dan berhabuk sis. Lama sangat tak update gitu kan.

Sometimes I wonder if there are people who still read my blog. Lols. Readership has dwindled. Maybe a lot of people does not read blog or switch from FB to other social media.

Maybe I need to think of juicier contents?

I don't know if any of you felt what I feel, like life has become one big blur moment of going to work then back to work, repeat until the day you die. I feel like a robot.

Urghhh work. Mid-quarter midlife crisis la kot sis ni. Ataupun sis mengalami burnout?

Mungkin sis perlukan rutin baru? sesuatu kelainan dalam hidup? staycation? vacation?

Tapi yang pasti, sis terasa sangat drained (direct translation: longkang). Macam mana eh nak explain maksud drained ni? Uols paham-paham sendiri la k.

You know sometimes, I hate the advancement of communication & technology. Yes it does make life easier but it has blurred a lot of line. Like the line between work and personal life.

I don't know how our parents do during their time but communication was quite limited back then with no cellphones and laptop. I wonder if their bosses would look for them at 3am for some things related to work.

I don't think so. Life was so much simpler back then.

Zaman sekarang? Sampai ke lubang cacing pun dia cari waima pukul 3 pagi di hari minggu sekalipun. Cuti pun terima message kerja, pun masih fikir pasal kerja, cakap pasal kerja. Seolah-olah hal itu antara hidup dan mati.

Mungkin sebab tu cuti pun tak rasa cuti sebab masih fikir pasal kerja.

I guess this is what drains me the most, when work has seeped into other parts of my life.

Some people cannot comprehend that others have a life outside of work. Some are mothers, fathers, wife or husband that have a family to take care of and spend time with. Some have hobbies or interest to pursue.

So when they clock out of work, their time and attention is 100% devoted to things other than work.

I'm sure you heard of stories where employees were fired because they did not reply messages after working hours.

I mean whattt!?!?!

Yes work is important but it's not the only thing in the world. You work to live not live to work.

Bila kau rebah pengsan terjojol, adakah company yang akan jaga uols, suap makan minum tolong mandikan uols bila sakit? Idok kan. Silap hari bulan, besok dia terus jumpa pengganti uols. Sadis tau.

Think about this, who are you when you take your day job out of the equation?
