The Rich And Stuck-ups

You know right I work in an area populated with VIPs, the rich and the famous and sometimes the rich and perasan famous. I've written about the story here. Some of them were nice but most were terribly rude, pompous, arrogant and self-righteous.

The datins and rich man's daughters will strut in the outlet, totting their LV, Prada, Hermes, Coach, Miu Miu, Michael Kors and all other expensive handbags. They will point at things with their manicured fingers, while fluffing their just-came-out-of-saloon hair and talk in unidentifiable accent (American? British? Australian?). All I know is they don't sound like Malaysian at all. The housewives will come in with their perfectly dressed little kids while their poor foreign nanny pushed the stroller and the maids carry the shopping bags full with organic, healthy stuff.

Most of them will come in and say "Omg. Why is it so expensive?! I can get this for only 30 bucks in US you know?" (Please try and read that in American accent)

They will come in and say "Ohh I won't be here long. I'll be in London for a long time. Just came back for a few months. I'm based in London." Selalu diorang sebut London la, US la. As if those places were just behind their houses.

And when you greet them Dato xx or Tan Sri XX, you'll immediately how their face light-up. Pffttttt...

Sometimes their driver or bodyguards will come in with their uniform. Most of the time, they will stand guard next to the fancy, expensive cars in the parking lot.

My colleague in a nearby placed once experienced a Malaysian female minister and her family came in to the outlet. The daughter was extremely rude and arrogant. Oh please la, it's your mum who is a VIP. Not you. Once, a VIP's son said to the staff "Cepat sikit boleh tak? I ni anak Dato so and so tau!"

PIC's work needs her to deal with public. So one day her company was doing a dialogue with residents of a well-off neighbourhood regarding construction of public transport's amenities. So one of the resident who was obviously against the construction said "I don't need this. Do you know I've got 3 BMW's at home?"

Like, hello? Come on la.

It's so sad that most of this rude and pompous rich people are Malaysians. The westerners we've met were always polite and grateful.

I once saw a maid was struggling to carry heavy grocery bags on her shoulder. 3 white boys were with her and it was so sweet of the boys trying to help her with the groceries bag but she was a bit reluctant to let them help. Mungkin takut kena marah bos. Cuba kalau Malaysian rich kids, itu maid kena marah lagi sebab jalan lambat2.

Come on la. Duit tidak membezakan kamu pun. Just because you are rich, you can be rude to others and look down on people? Thought everyone else is beneath you?

It's like they traded in their manners with money and wealth.

Strawberry Park Resort Cameron Highlands - Secluded Sanctuary For Introverts

Strawberry Park Resort Cameron Highlands - Introvert's Perfect Sanctuary Picture credit: https://strawberryparkresorts.com/ I'm always on the hunt for an introvert's getaway. As you can probably tell, I love misty mountain retreats. The tranquility, cool crisp air, breathtaking view, the seclusion are just 😍 perfect for introverting. I chanced upon Strawberry Park Resort while staying at SunLight Suite during my last trip to Cameron Highlands.  I was admiring the night view from Sunlight Suite's compound when I saw a well-lit area on the adjacent hill and remembered thinking to myself "Hmm, that looks like an expensive place....but I gotta check it out!" As it turns out, it wasn't that expensive considering the comfort, the facilities, and the invigorating environment.  Hotel Booking I booked through Agoda for a 3-day 2 nights stay, without breakfast for RM720+. Before my trip, I emailed the resort for booking confirmation, coz you know how sometimes A...

Adventure Time In Taman Negara Pahang Image credit: Mutiara Taman Negara My last memorable trip was that rejuvenating retreat in Cameron Highlands . So, I vowed to make 2023 as memorable as possible, and visit new places as much as money and time would allow. This Taman Negara trip marks my first trip for 2023 and I would highly recommend all nature lovers to visit.  Absolutely memorable! It only took less than a month to gather 6 adventure kakis, plan, and book the trip.  Easy peasy lemon squeezy.  Accommodations in Taman Negara Pahang There are a lot of places you can stay in Kuala Tahan .  We booked Mutiara Taman Negara for convenience and resort vibe which I'm a sucker for. I just have this crazy attraction for a wooden chalet in a jungle. Anyway, Mutiara Taman Negara is the only resort that is located within Taman Negara, overlooking Sg. Tembeling.  They offered several attractive packages that include accommodations, meals, and activities. We booked ...

Porn Puaka Di Gym

Tunggulah 2 bulan kemudian langsung tak nampak batang hidung ataupun buttcheeks. Eh? Sebenarnya salah satu benda Cik Panda nak cerita pasal butt cheeks. Butt cheeks are absolutely NO NO except at the pool or beach when you are in your swimsuit.  Cik Panda tak jealous la uols sebab Cik Panda tak hingin pun nak ada bontot yang jelly welly tu. ZAssssss So hari tu ada sorang minah ni baru 1st time iols nampak kat gym, tengah workout dengan bopren dia la gitu. Pakai sports bra je dengan really short shorts yang menampakkan ...

How Long Does It Take For Books From The Book Depository To Reach Malaysia? Update as of July 2023: Unfortunately, Book Depository has closed on 26th April 2023 😢 I love books and on average, I read about 1-2 books a month.  I'm not very fussy about the condition of books as long as I have exciting stories to read. I used to visit the one in The Linc KL then boom! MCO so I can't travel more than 10km. sad. Big Bad Wolf Books on Shopee  - cheap! Anyway, I just recently discovered The Book Depository , an online book store based in the UK and has a wide selection of books on topics I couldn't find here in Malaysia. I've always bee...
